How We Got Our Start
At Panther, we believe that our story is as much about people as it is about our work. Founded in 1994 by Mike and Cheryl Geddings, Panther began as a small family venture with just three employees who shared a vision of providing exceptional service while building strong relationships. Through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering belief in their mission, Panther steadily grew, earning the trust and loyalty of customers and the community alike. Over the past 30 years, Panther has evolved into a thriving company, now employing over thirty talented and passionate individuals who are committed to upholding the values that Mike and Cheryl instilled from the very beginning. It remains a proud family business, with the next generation carrying the torch. In 2025, Mike and Cheryl’s son, Josh Geddings, took over as the head of the company, bringing fresh energy and a renewed commitment to Panther’s mission. Under his leadership, Panther is poised to continue its legacy of service, integrity, and community.
Totes For Hope
Through our partnership with Carolina Breast Friends, Panther HVAC supports the Totes for Hope community event by helping provide thoughtfully assembled totes filled with essentials and uplifting items for those navigating a breast cancer journey. These totes are more than just supplies—they’re a reminder that our neighbors are surrounded by a community that cares. By working alongside Carolina Breast Friends, Panther HVAC is able to contribute to a meaningful local effort that brings hope, dignity, and encouragement to individuals and families during a difficult season, while reinforcing our commitment to serving the community beyond the job site.
